We’re thrilled to announce that James Thompson has joined us as an AV Designer. With a wealth of experience in the corporate AV sector, James brings a blend of technical expertise, creative thinking, and a collaborative approach that perfectly aligns with our mission to deliver exceptional solutions for our clients.
His meticulous attention to detail and ability to manage projects across all RIBA stages have consistently delivered outstanding results. Alongside this, James is adept at budgeting, specification writing, and creating AV design drawings, ensuring seamless project execution from conception to completion.
His dedication to continuous learning is evident through his pursuit of industry qualifications, including Dante Level 1, Avixa AV Technologist, and Extron AV Associate certifications, with a CTS certification underway.
James’s career began in sound editing and mixing, where he worked on high-profile productions for Netflix, HBO, and the BBC. This foundation developed his ability to perform under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders, skills that have translated seamlessly into his AV consultancy work.
Outside of work, James’s passion for music production, DJing, and volunteering highlights his creative and community-focused spirit.
James joins us with a proven track record of leadership on smaller-scale projects and a dynamic skill set that enriches our growing team. We’re excited to see the innovative solutions and fresh perspectives James will bring to our projects.
