Elevating AV experiences for The Savoy refurbishment project

Blend spearheaded the AV design services for the Savoy Hotel refurbishment project, covering all Front of House (FoH) areas, including diverse conference, meeting, and event spaces. Our expertise extended to the ballroom, events room, and banqueting hall, where we installed cutting-edge audio, video, and stage lighting systems capable of accommodating a wide range of event types and room configurations.

Seamless AV design to grade II listed building

The Grade II listed status of the building and its unique attributes presented several challenges. For the ground floor bars and restaurants, we opted for invisible plaster-in speakers, supplemented by discrete sub-woofers in most areas, to deliver a high-quality background music system that seamlessly blended with the interior design. The Ballroom also posed challenges, where we engineered new AV systems and event infrastructure, including new rigging points, tie lines, and lighting control systems. The Savoy has received many awards and was even official BAFTA partner for 12 years until 2022.
