“Patient comes first”: transformative AV solutions for King Khalid Medical Centre 

The King Khalid Medical City (KKMC) mega project in Dammam was the largest of four integrated medical cities under development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA). Inspired by the slogan “patient comes first,” the KSA aimed to improve its citizens’ access to quality healthcare and medical innovation. The KKMC project presented unique challenges and ambitious objectives. Our task involved designing and implementing state-of-the-art AV and entertainment systems to enhance patient experiences, facilitate seamless communication, and support advanced medical practices. This included outfitting a large-scale auditorium, implementing sophisticated operating room capture systems, and integrating AV solutions across 1,500 patient rooms, as well as numerous meeting, training, and lecture spaces.
