Stunning villas in North-Easten Beijing 

Blend were appointed to provide AV, home automation, IT (passive & active) and electronic security for a large residential project in North-Eastern Beijing. The private client purchased two neighbouring 5-bedroom villas. The project entails modifications to both villas, as well as excavation of 4no basement storeys which span the area of the client-owned land. The 52,000 sq/ft property is designed by Amanda Levete Architects. 

Quality without compromise 

The design by Amanda Levete Architects emphasised clean, unbroken lines and the use of natural materials, requiring the technology Blend was consulting on to be top-tier and discreet. Sourcing high-end AV, IT, and security products in mainland China while ensuring quality posed a significant challenge. To meet this, Blend collaborated closely with the architect to integrate technology seamlessly into the building finishes, including bespoke loudspeakers hidden behind perforated travertine stone, a two-factor biometric access control system, and a Dolby Atmos 7.2.4 4K cinema. To guarantee quality, Blend established new supply chains for European products where necessary.
