Blend has been appointed by Akin to provide AV & IT consultancy for their new office at 155 Bishopsgate. The consultancy involves designing passive infrastructure and advanced AV systems, and expanding Akin‘s technology standards. Blend will start by assessing the building’s existing infrastructure to ensure it can support the planned AV and IT systems. This includes designing cable management and equipment mounting solutions. Next, Blend will develop AV system designs tailored to Akin’s needs, incorporating the latest technologies to enhance communication and collaboration. 

Additionally, Blend will review and update Akin’s technology standards to align with industry best practices and future technological advancements. Currently, Blend is gathering detailed requirements from Akin and performing due diligence on the building’s base infrastructure. The project aims to deliver a high-quality AV and IT environment, a robust passive infrastructure, and updated technology standards that support Akin’s operational and strategic goals.
